If you guys didn’t hate me before…
Posted by themasonYou know what I’m sick of? Sandman. Fuck Sandman. I’m not saying it’s not good, because it’s amazing, but I am saying it’s overrated. I’m tired of running into people who, upon being asked, “Have you ever read a comic?” They reply, “No, I’ve only read the graphic novel Sandman.”
That begs a lot of questions. Why do people, especially non-comic people, like to correct me, as a comic person, when I say comic instead of graphic novel. Sandman’s a comic dammit. And why the hell did they stop at Sandman? Many of these people read Sandman years before, not recently, so why didn’t they attempt to branch out and find more awesome graphic novels?
