Well shit…
Posted by themasonI have to make a bit of an addendum to my “top 3 books” comment in a post last week. I had a momentary lapse of retardery and forgot that Ex Machina not only existed, but is and has been for awhile, my favorite monthly title. The list is:
Ex Machina
Scalped
Invincible
With DMZ taking the number 4 spot. Sorry.
With that said, I just read Ex Machina 40 and it was pretty awesome. Brian K. Vaughn breaks that ol’ 4th wall that writers like to fuck with on occasion. We’ve seen Stan the man do it, we’ve seen Grant Morrison do it (what hasn’t that guy done) and now I think we’ve seen the most successful attempt from someone who decided to put themselves in their own comic.
Go out and read Ex Machina, it’s awesome.
