I try not to write bad reviews, BUT…
Posted by themasonSo Brotherhood of the Wolf recently came back out on DVD and having missed seeing it when it became popular among the geeks and nerds of the world I decided I’d check it out now. You may have noticed that I didn’t link it in the first sentence when I mentioned it. Why would I do that? What could inspire me to do so? Simple: I didn’t like it.
It was boring! Slow and boring. And the action, especially at the beginning was hard to watch. The choreography and cinematography worked together to give you a big ol’ head ache if you attempted to make any sense or semblance of the moves the actors were making. Now, I will admit that the action scenes near the end get pretty good, but by then you’re too bored to give these scenes the attention they deserve. But, you know, of course these scenes are good; they’re about a man seeking vengeance for the death of his Indian (as in the Native American sort) man-friend. Oh, shit, did I just ruin the movie? No, not really.
