The New X3
Posted by rudyhernandezSo a while back I posted my review of The Spririt. I forgot to mention however the best thing about going to see The Spirit. The X-Men Origins: Wolverine trailer they showed before the movie started. And while I admit you can only get so much from a trailer, I actually got psyched to see the movie. Hugh Jackman still looks great as Wolverine, the movie seems to jump through at least a few times periods in Logan’s history, and you get to see other characters like Sabertooth, Deadpool and Gambit.
I have a feeling this movie will end up being 10 times better than the train wreck that was X3. In fact this really should have been X3 in the first place. We were teased with a Dark Phoenix story and got nothing even remotely close. Here you’re likely to have a much better story with Wolverine and fewer mutants that are based on characters in name only than you got in X3. The only downside is you won’t get to see Anna Paquin. Which is even worse for me because I don’t have cable movie channels so I can’t see her in True Blood either. Ah well. At least I’ll get to see some cool fights when the movie opens up on May 1, 2009.
